Nollywood actress, Lala Akindoju has reacted to 2019 Big Brother Naija reality show housemates, Khafi and Gedoni’s engagement.

The actress recalled how she once had a conversation with Khafi on “why she followed a man” while still a housemate of the reality show.

Lala Akindoju who revealed that she told the reality show star that Gedoni was a distraction, recounted how Khafi told her that she found something more than a reality show.

She also disclosed that the couple love each genuinely as she prayed for their love to continue growing stronger and stronger.

A Nigerian lady who is quite thankful for life, took to Facebook to narrate how she was pushed out of a moving vehicle by one-chance operators she overpowered.

Sharing photos of the injuries she sustained, Linda Akudo Nwachukwu revealed that the incident occurred on December 23.

The Facebook user revealed that her struggle with her attackers began just after she was asked the church she attends.

She wrote;

I have come to return all the glory to our Lord Jesus Christ who saved my life from the hands of this one chanced people. I boarded Keke Napep on my way home on 23rd been yesterday night, it was just myself and one other guy at the back, on our way going the guy at the back as me…madam….’which church you dey go’ I turn and look at hime at his repeated the same queston now with a harsh voice, while he was asking me the question I now concentrate on his hands on his pocket and I found out that he was trying to bring something out.

I didn’t waste anytime than to rush his hands while he was struggling to bring the object out, I needed to know if it was gun or tagger, at this I hard no other option than to struggle the tagger with hin in other to safe my life and belongings.

To cut the long story short, God gave me the strength and courage to face him, when they found out that I have created so much awareness they decided to push me out of the running keke….

A Nigerian, Emmanuel Mong, caught trying to catch a flight home, is in the process of being extradited from Washington to Stamford in California, where he will face charges that he illegally intercepted a $30,000 wire transfer from Purdue Pharma.

According to Port of Seattle Police, 24 year-old Mong of Savannah, Georgia, was trying to catch an Emirates Airlines flight to Nigeria on Dec. 16 at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

Seeing there was a felony warrant in his name, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers detained him until police arrived at Sea-Tac Airport.

According to the report, Stamford police issued a warrant for Mong’s arrest in 2017, charging him with first-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit first-degree computer crime and conspiracy to commit criminal impersonation, with a court-ordered appearance bond of $250,000.

Despite his protests that he has never lived in Georgia and claims that he is not the person wanted in the warrant, Mong is being extradited to Stamford.

His Stamford criminal defense attorney, Allan Friedman, said Mong is eager to clear his name.

“Mr. Mong is looking forward to coming to Stamford and having his day in court and presenting evidence of his innocence,” Friedman said. “We will resolve this matter in court.”

A spokesperson from Purdue Pharma said they had no comment on the matter.

According to Mong’s four-page arrest affidavit, Sean Coughlin, a Stamford police financial crimes investigator, said Purdue Pharma became the victim of what is known as a “man-in-the-email scam,” wherein a corporation, usually with business connections to Africa or Asia, have their email systems hacked by a computer virus or some other malware.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard, has given the reasons why his side lost 2-0 to Southampton on Thursday.

Chelsea lost their Boxing Day encounter at Stamford Bridge to the Saints as their home form worsen.

Speaking at a press conference after the game the former England midfielder, said,

“These are difficult tests of character.

“Today there are questions. When we beat Tottenham we were the best ever but this is different.

“We need to turn round this mini bad run at home.”

Speaking on Callum Hudson-Odoi, Lampard added,

“I thought he put in effort today and tried things.

Arsenal captain, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has said manager, Mikel Arteta, has planned to change the behaviour and attitude of the Gunners’ squad after replacing Unai Emery at Emirates some few days ago.

Aubameyang said this following Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Bournemouth in the Premier League on Thursday.

“I think he wants good commitment from us,” Aubameyang told Amazon Prime.

“The behaviour and attitude, we’ve tried to give everything already in training, 100 per cent, and be ready for the game.

“I think we can rectify a lot of things. These last few days we had a lot of tactical work, we can say he has a lot of ideas and they can help us.

“I think we have to come here and try what we worked [in training] and for sure we will have some spaces to win this game.”
