Multichoice DStv has officially announced the termination of the broadcast of Emmanuel TV, the religious network established by the late founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), T.B. Joshua.
This decision follows the airing of a controversial three-part documentary by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), which made serious allegations against the deceased clergyman.
The documentary investigated allegations of atrocities and sexual crimes committed by T.B. Joshua against his disciples.
DStv notified its viewers about the impending discontinuation, set to take effect on January 17, 2024.
